A label maker and a cell phone.
Lisa York, Founder and Professional Organizer, started Puka with humble beginnings in 2005.
Charged with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for organization, Lisa knew that starting her own business was meant to be her career path. With a label maker and a cell phone, Lisa set out to bring an unburdened lifestyle and organization to homes and businesses in the Nashville, TN area.
Puka quickly grew to be a reputable establishment. The demand for a simplified and unburdened life projected the company to expand their clientele and employee base. Every year brought new challenges, including television spots on A&E's Hoarders in 2010 and TLC's Hoarding: Buried Alive in 2012. With every project, Puka was able to accommodate a wide skillset equipped to handle any job.
The Puka team is now ten employees strong, and has created a positive, consistent reputation and continues to bring a sense of peace and simplicity to each household.
